The days of water seem far away. From one extreme to the other – the wettest place I ever lived to the driest. Surely there is a happy medium somewhere.
Indeed. I want water and desert in the same place, please. Desert air and sky with a swimming hole not surrounded by cattle. The swimming hole can be ocean-sized as long as it is warm enough to swim. No, I’m not particular.
I seem to have memorized the way the air feels on my face and in my lungs at both of these extremes. I stare at the photos and feel the human family history pressing in. Thank you. They’re beautiful.
Wonderful images. ?
❤️❤️❤️
It’s good to know and experience the extremes. Weather certainly has an impact on our emotional state.
A color on life’s pallet.

You were gifted with a mind/spirit/consciousness that has a band width for life’s extremes.
Gifted might not be the word I would choose 🙂
Interesting. What word or phrase works better or would you have chosen?
Good question!

Thank you, Linda. For me, it’s the taste of salt that I remember from the coast. Here, the heat of the sun.
