Lovely. Are those geese in the top photo? I was often mistaken about chunks of wood when there, especially in the surf. I remember my surprise that it rained enough for ferns to grow high in the crotches of tree limbs in more shaded areas.
Not geese – they are elk. They roam about between Nehalem Spit and the Nehalem Bay island in front of my house. They cross the channel at low tide. They were there for several days last week – I was hoping they would calve on the island where I could see them 🙂 xoxo
Oooh. Pretty.
Beautiful. Don’t get dysentery. Oh, sorry, thought you said, “On the Oregon Trail.”
Close! Barely a step ahead.
🙂
